 e enjoy live performances\, free treats\, lawn games\, and more\nas we off
 icially welcome this special space to our community. All\nactivities are f
 ree and open to the public. Bring the whole family!\n\nSharon Nesbit Herit
 age Park stretches along the Sandy River\, offering\na paved trail connect
 ing the Gateway to the Gorge Visitor Center to\nthe I-84 Trail. The park f
 eatures a raised walkway\, a river viewing\nplatform\, scenic overlooks\, 
 and interpretive signs celebrating\nTroutdale's history. Visitors can take
  in stunning views of the Sandy\nRiver\, Broughton Bluff\, Beaver Creek\, 
 and the historic Sandy River\nBridge. Dogs are welcome in the park but mus
 t remain on leash at all\ntimes.\n\nThe park is named for Sharon Nesbit\, 
 a longtime resident\, local\nlegend\, founder of the Troutdale Historical 
 Society\, and longtime\ncolumnist for The Outlook. Sharon’s life's work 
 has been to preserve\nthe stories that make Troutdale unique.\n\nParking i
