The City of Troutdale recently adopted standards for keeping chickens on residential properties. Before you put up a coop and buy your seed, there's a few important items to review:

Please review and save these standards for keeping chickens before applying for a chicken permit.

Chicken Permit

Residents who currently keep chickens or are interested in keeping chickens will need to secure a chicken permit which is good for a two year period and can be renewed. The City of Troutdale is currently developing the permit application, which will be applied for and paid for via its online system.
