Sandy Glantz

Thank you for electing me to City Council. I ran for Council because I feel strongly about several issues, and a friend told me, “What you feel doesn’t matter – it’s what you do about it that makes the difference.” 

Those issues which initially motivated me to run are protecting home and property values, and ensuring our tax dollars are spent as efficiently as possible. Many of us live in Troutdale because of the affordability and quality of life.  Maintaining Troutdale as the metro area’s “sweet spot” of value, safety and neighborhood quality is my goal.

I’ve lived in Troutdale for almost 35 years, with a diverse background, having been a renter, a homeowner, a student, a mom, a commuter, a business owner, and more. I currently work in Tech, and in my spare time enjoy playing the piano, gardening, hiking, listening to all kinds of music, watching Netflix, and reading/learning about new developments in science and technology.
