Sweetbriar Park

This 1.38-acre mini park is a triangular parcel of land bordered by a residential development on the north and Sweetbriar Elementary School on the west. The park is located off Evans Avenue and functions as an extension of the school grounds.

In 1980, engineers determined that this setting would be an excellent location for a water well site in order to handle the water demand for the growth happening at the time in this area. Reynolds School District #7 dedicated the site to the City in June 1980 for use as a city park and a water well site. The park is operated and maintained by the city for use by the general public. Facilities are limited to an open grass area, some landscaping, and a paved pathway.
