Profile

As a lifelong resident, my roots run very deep here in East Multnomah County. After graduating from Gresham High School, I went on to complete 1 year of post high school education at Mt. Hood Community College but left to pursue full-time work and to start a family. I am a proud father to a brilliant 24 year old daughter, Peyton, and an amazing 19 year old son, Mason. I’m also a proud uncle to 4 wonderful nieces, Tori, Jenna, Mariah, and Kalle. My family is the main reason why I chose to serve the city I call home. In building stronger communities, we provide opportunities for other families to thrive.

From a very young age I wanted nothing more than to follow in father’s footsteps and join the military but after 3 separate attempts, I was turned down due to an eye disorder called, keratoconus. I was left defeated and with no option to serve my country. This event serves as the second reason and why I was compelled to run for election to the city council. If I wasn’t able to serve my Country militarily, then I would do my best to serve my Community civically.

Thank you all for your trust and I will do my best to continue to earn that trust each and every day that I hold the office of Mayor.
