Public Transportation

Line 20 runs along the southern edge of Troutdale via Stark St. and provides daily service between Gresham Central Transit Center through downtown Portland to the Beaverton Transit Center. From Gresham TC, riders can transfer to the MAX Blue Line and the FX2 into Portland, Sandy Area Metro, as well as numerous bus lines.

Line 25 runs between Mt. Hood Community College and Gateway Transit Center in Portland where riders can transfer to numerous bus lines and MAX Light Rail Service – including the MAX Red Line for trips to Portland International Airport.

Line 77 provides daily service between Portland and Troutdale Reynolds Industrial Park via Halsey St. and 257th Ave.

Line 81 provides daily service between Gresham Central Transit Center and Troutdale Reynolds Industrial Park via 257th Ave/Kane Rd.

Troutdale has a stop on the Columbia Gorge Express, which has stops in Portland, Troutdale, Multnomah Falls, Cascade Locks, Hood River. The service runs seven days per week and with three daily stops in Troutdale along Frontage Rd. Service extends further with connecting buses to The Dalles.

Exact change or active Gorge Transit Pass is required to ride.

Trimet LIFT Service

TriMet’s LIFT service provides door-to-door, shared-ride public transportation for individuals who are unable to use fixed-route buses or MAX trains due to a disability or disabling health condition. This essential service operates within the TriMet service area and is designed to meet the mobility needs of eligible riders, ensuring access to work, appointments, shopping, and other destinations.

Service is generally available from 3:30 a.m. – 2:30 a.m. seven days a week, however, it may differ in some parts of the TriMet Service District. All locations inside the TriMet service area boundary are served based on the days and hours of operation of buses and trains.

Ride Connection

Ride Connection is a nonprofit organization that provides free and low-cost transportation options across the Portland metro area, ensuring mobility for seniors, individuals with disabilities, and others with transportation challenges. With a network of community-based services, Ride Connection offers door-to-door rides, shopping shuttles, and connections to medical appointments, social activities, and more.

Most services are available Monday through Friday; hours, availability and days of service vary. Travel Training service hours vary greatly based on customer needs.
