Dance and yoga classes for kids are returning to Troutdale in October! Join instructor Debbie Sackett, who has been leading Kinderdance programs in Multnomah County for more than 20 years. Classes will be held in the Sam Cox Building at Glenn Otto Park on Thursday afternoons starting on October 7. Kindertots®
Ages 2 - 3 years (with parent/adult)
Kindertots offers 2-3 year olds dance & sensory[1]motor activities that enhance timely acquisition of development milestones while nurturing the bond between caregiver & child. Caregivers participate & learn to facilitate the natural exploration & progression of motor development through dance & games. Classes are held on Thursdays from 2:45-3:15pm. Cost is $36 for residents and $43 for non-residents for four weeks.
Session 1: October 7 - October 28. Register by October 4.
Session 2: November 4 - December 9 (No class 11/11 & 11/25). Register by November 1.
Kinderdance®
Ages 3 - 6 years
This is a developmental dance, movement & fitness program teaching the basics of ballet, tap, acrobatics & creative movement while learning numbers, colors, shapes, words & songs. Classes are held on Thursdays from 3:30-4:15pm. Cost is $40 for residents and $48 for non-residents for four weeks.
Session 1: October 7 - October 28. Register by October 4.
Session 2: November 4 - December 9 (No class 11/11 & 11/25). Register by November 1.
Kids Yoga®
Ages 3 - 9 years
Kids Yoga is a non-spiritual, non-religious program that teaches yoga poses & stretches through songs & stories. Our activities promote the development of a strong & flexible body, increases balance, body awareness & coordination, improves posture & alignment, reduces stress & anxiety and increases concentration, focus & attention span. Classes are held on Thursdays from 4:20-4:50pm. Cost is $36 for residents and $43 for non-residents for four weeks.

Session 2: November 4 - December 9 (No class 11/11 & 11/25). Register by November 1.
Kindercombo®
Ages 5—9 years
This is a combination ballet, tap & modern dance program. This gives the young dance student a solid foundation upon which to build. Age appropriate educational concepts are fun & reinforce dance techniques & styles. Classes are held on Thursdays from 5:00 - 5:45pm. Cost is $40 for residents and $48 for non-residents for four weeks.
