Air Quality Alert: Wood-Burning Restriction Now in Effect
Easterly winds are bringing smoke and haze from wildfires across Oregon, and air quality is expected to worsen through Wednesday. Multnomah County has issued a mandatory wood-burning restriction effective noon today, August 3.
The restriction does not apply to cooking — charcoal grills, smokers, and wood-fired ovens may still be used.

Road Closure: SW Imagination Way Closed Beginning August 3
SW Imagination Way will be closed beginning Monday, August 3 for road reconstruction. Paving is scheduled for Monday, August 10, with the road expected to reopen once paving is complete.
Columbia Park will remain open during construction with regular hours of 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. However, the parking lot on Imagination Way will not be accessible during this time. Visitors should plan to use street parking on surrounding city streets and expect a longer walk to the playground.
