Paid Parking at Glenn Otto Park

Beginning July 10, 2025, the City of Troutdale implemented paid parking at Glenn Otto Park on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. As one of Troutdale's most popular parks, Glenn Otto sees heavy visitor traffic on weekends, which can lead to overcrowded lots, spillover parking into surrounding neighborhoods, and added strain on park facilities. Paid parking is designed to ease that congestion, manage overcrowding, and encourage more efficient use and turnover of available spaces.

Revenue generated from the program goes directly back into the Parks Division, helping fund ongoing maintenance, operations, and public safety efforts throughout Glenn Otto Park. Parking fees apply only during the park's designated paid days and hours — there is no charge to park Monday through Thursday.

Troutdale residents are exempt from the parking fee, but exemption isn't automatic — you must pre-register your vehicle each year using the exemption form described below. The sections that follow walk through who needs to pay, current fee rates, how to pay for parking or a citation, and information on event parking and other frequently asked questions.
