Lewellyn Park

Lewellyn Park in Troutdale with tennis courts, a picnic table, walking paths and a grassy are

Lewellyn Park in Troutdale is a modest 2.4‑acre neighborhood park nestled in the Sandee Palisades subdivision off SE Lewellyn Avenue. Established in 1981, it’s framed by residential streets and feels like a quiet community gathering spot. The park includes a playground, two tennis courts, a paved loop path, and an open grassy field. It’s a straightforward community space often used for casual play, short walks, or neighborhood gatherings.

In the fall, the trees around the park—mostly maples and alders—start to turn yellow and light orange. The color change is subtle but adds some seasonal variety to the otherwise simple layout. Leaves collect along the walking path and on the lawn, giving the park a quieter, slightly more subdued feel. It’s not a destination for fall scenery, but for locals, it offers a low-key way to enjoy the shift in seasons.
