Did you know that The City of Troutdale doesn’t own and maintain every street in Troutdale?

Some of the roads within the City of Troutdale — including many of the major arterials — are under the jurisdiction of either the Oregon Department of Transportation or Multnomah County. There are even some privately-owned roads.

  • The City's Streets Division operates, maintains, and repairs over 40 center-line miles of streets within Troutdale.
  • Multnomah County is responsible for maintaining many of the major arterials within our city including E. Historic Columbia River Hwy, 257th Ave., 242nd Dr., Buxton/Troutdale Rd., Cherry Park Rd., Halsey St., and Stark St.
  • The Oregon Department of Transportation has jurisdiction over 5 miles of State highway in Troutdale including I-84, the adjacent frontage roads, and Historic Columbia River Highway east of the Sandy River.
