2026 Pavement Maintenance Project

Thank you for visiting the City of Troutdale’s 2026 Pavement Maintenance Project Website. See below for updates as they happen.

The 2026 Pavement Maintenance Project starts today July 13, 2026. Crews will be out crack sealing so if you got a notice please move your car our of the work zone. You can see a map of where they will be crack sealing below. Another crew will be out doing spot AC repairs, fixing the bad portions of AC before we slurry the street. If they are fixing the  AC on your street be on the lookout for your road being closed for slurry seal come the beginning of August. We will have a slurry seal schedule posted here asap and you will be notified a few days in advance of any work.

This page will help keep you up to date with all the work that will be occurring over the summer and early fall in your neighborhood. See the slideshow and files below to see where work will be completed. When a schedule is completed, it will be posted here.

Work on the 2026 Pavement Maintenance Project will be completed not later than September 4, 2026.

Troutdale has great streets and hopes that residents and business owners understand how important it is to perform these maintenance activities to ensure our streets remain that way for the long term. Please bear with us knowing that a few days of inconvenience pays off with years of good quality pavement.

**UPDATE - August 7

Due to vandalism of the gravel base for the new roadway on SW Imagination Way, the road will be closed through the weekend. Crews need to repair portions of the base prior to paving on Monday, August 10. This means that the weekend parking lot access we announced earlier this week is no longer possible due to this repair work.

We expect the road to be fully open by Monday afternoon. As ever, the schedule can change at any time due to weather or mechanical issues. Please check back regularly for updates. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

**UPDATE - July 31

Slurry Seal and the Imagination Way reconstruction starting soon and Crack Seal finishing up next week.

SW Imagination Way Reconstruction: S2 Contractors will begin the reconstruction of SW Imagination Way on Monday, August 3. Unfortunately, SW Imagination Way will be closed the week of August 3. It will be open with access to some of the parking lots/spaces the weekend of August 8-9. S2 plans on paving Monday August 10 and the road will be opened fully after the paving has been completed. Columbia Park will be open 8am-9pm as usual during the road reconstruction. If you plan visiting the park you will need to find street parking on surrounding City streets. S2 will do their best to allow access as soon as possible but it would be advisable to assume you will not be able to park close to the playground will have to walk from further away.

Slurry Seal: VSS International will be begin laying down slurry seal on our streets starting Friday, August 7. The schedule and map are below for your reference. You will be notified by a door hanger and there will be "No Parking" signs on your street at least 48 hours in advance work starting. If your street is scheduled for slurry seal please make sure everything is off the street including cars and items like basketball hoops. It is possible to drive on your street before they have applied the slurry seal but once it has gone down, the street will be closed until 5pm and MUST NOT BE DRIVEN ON for any reason. If you leave before they put the slurry down you might not be able to make it back to your house and will have to park outside the work area. Police, Fire, and Safety will be available at all times.

Crack Seal: CR Contracting will be back August 4-5 to finish up the work they started last month. A schedule will be posted as soon as they provide it.  If you street is scheduled to be crack sealed please do not park on the street. You are able to come and go as you like, except when the crew is actively sealing cracks. Once they have moved on you are welcome to drive on your street again.

Our contactors do their best to stick to the given schedule but the schedule can change at any time due to weather or mechanical issues. Please check back regularly for updates. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this project.
