Parks Use Permit (Athletic Fields/Parks)

Troutdale's parks and athletic fields provide wonderful spaces for sports leagues, tournaments, practices, and community gatherings. Whether you're organizing a softball tournament, scheduling regular soccer practices, or planning a community event in one of our parks, a parks use permit ensures your group has reserved access to the facilities you need.

Athletic Field Reservations

Athletic fields available for reservation include our softball fields and soccer fields. Please note that user groups are responsible for providing their own field markings, goals, corner flags, and other equipment needed for your activities.

Reservation Priority and Timeline:

The City of Troutdale's Recreation Division has first priority for field use if reservations are made on or before March 1 of each year (except for activities covered by preexisting use agreements). After March 1, fields become available to groups and individuals on a first-come, first-served basis. Early planning helps ensure you get the dates and times you need!

How to Reserve:

To check availability and start the reservation process, call our Reservation Line at 503.674.7297. Our staff will let you know if your preferred dates are available and guide you through the steps to complete your reservation.

Planning a Community Event in a Park?

If you're organizing a community event in one of our parks, you can use the same parks use permit form. However, depending on the size and nature of your event, you may also need a Special Event Permit. Contact our Permit Specialist at 503.674.7236 to discuss your event and determine which permits you'll need.
