Thank you for visiting the City of Troutdale’s 2025 Pavement Maintenance Project Website.
This page will help keep you up to date with the work that will be occurring over the summer in areas around the City. The City has selected a contractor and executed the contract! Things are going to get going quickly.
If pavement maintenance work is planned on your street, you should have received a notice in the mail regarding this upcoming work. This summer’s work will consist of two parts:
- First is the reconstruction of SE McGinnis from just south of SE 24th Street north to SE 22nd Street. The reconstruction of SW McGinnis Ave. is planned to start next Tuesday, July 29 and be completed by Friday, August 1. "No Parking" signs in the affected areas should already be out on the street and you will receive a door hanger notification 48 hours before construction begins.
- Secondly, a number of streets will have slurry seal applied to them. Of those streets, some will be getting full-depth spot pavement patches (digouts) to address localized weak spots in the pavement structure.
- Work on the digouts will begin this Friday, July 25 and should be wrapped up by Tuesday, August 12. "No Parking" signs in the affected areas should already be out on the street or will be one week before work begins and you will receive a door hanger notification 48 hours before construction begins. See map and schedule below for reference.
- The slurry seal application is scheduled to start Tuesday, August 19 and be completed Friday, August 22. Again, "No Parking" signs will be placed in the affected areas one week in advance and door hanger notifications will be distributed 48 hours in advance of work commencing. See schedule map below for reference.
Please be advised that dates are subject to change without notice due to mechanical breakdowns or unfavorable weather conditions. The webpage will be updated as often as possible to keep you up to date if there are unexpected changes. Thank you for your patience and understanding during the project.
**Garbage Update** August 21st
This morning, Waste Management was unable to get to every street before slurry was applied. If Waste Management has not picked up any of your bins please leave them out and they will come around tomorrow and empty them. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
