Beaver Creek Greenway

Trail improvements coming soon!

Located east of Troutdale Road at the confluence of the Sandy River and extending south to Cochrane Drive, this greenway is 75.86 acres in size, with an additional 79.88 acres purchased by Metro and maintained by the City.

The site is comprised of numerous parcels of land that lie along Beaver Creek. Facilities are limited to natural trails. A majority of the canyon is heavily wooded and provides open space and wildlife habitat.

Access is available through several adjacent greenway parcels. Trailheads are located across Beavercreek Lane from Weedin Park, near the intersection of SE Chapman Avenue and Beavercreek Lane, and near the intersection of SE 11th Circle and Beavercreek Lane.

NEW - Trail Improvements

Troutdale Parks is partnering with The Trail Keepers of Oregon organization to make improvements to the trail system in Beaver Creek Canyon later this summer or in early fall. The Trail Keepers will be holding a series of volunteer-supported work days and educational events to build Gabion box retaining walls and reconstruct the wooden stairway on the trail below Weedin Park.

If you are interested in participating as a volunteer, please contact Trail Keepers of Oregon and reference the Beaver Creek Canyon project in Troutdale.
