Thank you for visiting the project website for the Sandee Palisades Trail Replacement Project. This is where all plans and updates for this project will be made available to you as they happen or come available.
The City is planning to replace/ re-route the trail in Sandee Palisades Park later this summer. Over the years, tree roots have really done a number on the asphalt path, making it difficult to enjoy a nice leisurely trip around the park. The City is committed to its long-term goal of making all its parks and public spaces safe and accessible to all, and this project will contribute greatly to that effort. The City has selected a contractor and the work should be taking place this spring/summer. This project page will be updated when an official schedule has been set.
