The City obtained the services of a multi-disciplinary team of consulting engineers, led by Peterson Structural Engineers, to inspect and assess the City’s four water reservoirs with regard to seismic resiliency. PSE recently completed their work and provided the City with the current level of seismic resiliency of each reservoir as well as tiered options to increase the resiliency, with cost estimates and implementation plans for each option. The City will be employ these assessments, cost estimates, and implementation plans to make risk management decisions and to budget for and implement improvements required for a safer, more resilient water distribution system and mitigate risks to potable water supply for Troutdale residents.
