The City has executed a contract with Peterson Structural Engineers to inspect and assess the City’s four water reservoirs in regard to seismic resiliency. PSE will provide the City with the current level of seismic resiliency of each reservoir as well as tiered options to increase the resiliency, with cost estimates and implementation plans for each option. The City will be able to use these cost estimates and implementation plans to budget for and implement the improvements required for a safer, more resilient water distribution system; thus ensuring Troutdale residents will be able to receive potable water in the event of a disaster.
