The Beaver Creek North Bridge was the only remaining pedestrian bridge to cross Beaver Creek in the canyon greenway in Troutdale. The old timber span bridge became so deteriorated and unsafe that it had to be removed.
A conceptual design for a replacement bridge has been created and the City is preparing to release a Request For Proposal (RFP) to complete the design and acquire the necessary permits. The project has been approved for multiple grants, with additional grant funding still in the works. It is expected that construction will begin as soon as Summer 2025.
