Beaver Creek Canyon North Pedestrian Bridge Replacement

Beaver Creek North Pedestrian Bridge

The Beaver Creek North Bridge was the only remaining pedestrian bridge to cross Beaver Creek in the canyon greenway in Troutdale.  The old timber span bridge became so deteriorated and unsafe that it had to be removed, and now needs replaced. Over the past few years the City has acquired all the necessary permits, engineered drawings, and land use approval. All that's needed now is funding for construction.

The project is effectively in a shovel ready holding pattern presently. With the passage of the Metro Parks Bond the City is hopeful that it can obtain grant funding and proceed with replacing the bridge.
