The Parks Master Plan is the primary source of identifying future parks and facilities improvement in the City of Troutdale. The City Council approved the new plan in June 2023. The prior update happened in 2006.

The City of Troutdale is looking to the future with the development of the Parks Master Plan, a long-term vision, with goals, strategies, and objectives based on community input, and a technical analysis of the system. The Plan inventories existing parks and facilities, identifies community needs, and directs funding and investment over the next 20 years.
