The I-84 Graham Road bridge replacement project is nearly halfway done!
The westbound roadway is complete, so now work will switch to the eastbound direction. Traffic is scheduled to switch onto the temporary bridge the week of October 7, as weather allows. You should expect nighttime closures on I-84 eastbound during this work. Traffic will be routed onto Frontage Road.
The next step will be demolition of the old eastbound bridge which is set to take place the weekend of October 11. In order to do this work, a full weekend closure of Graham Road may be required from 9 p.m. on Friday, October 11 through 5 a.m. on Monday, October 14. If demolition cannot be fully completed due to weather, additional closures may be required the following weekend (October 18-21).
You may want to consider taking 238th Dr. at exit 16, or Crown Point Hwy exit 18 to avoid the area during those times.
Further, while Graham Road is closed, northbound traffic will detour at Halsey Street to NE 238th Drive. Pedestrians will be directed to use Harlow Road.
