The Stark Street Bridge will be closed for a structural inspection and repairs on June 29-30.

Following the postponement of a routine structural inspection earlier this month, the Stark Street Bridge will be closed to traffic on Monday, June 29 and Tuesday, June 30 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The work is not weather-dependent and the bridge will reopen each day after work hours.

Crews will conduct the previously scheduled inspection as well as repair potholes, curb damage and perform some structural work below the bridge deck. The repairs will require the use of a manlift on the bridge. Due to weight limits, the bridge must be closed to other traffic while the manlift is in use.

During the closure, your best option is take the Troutdale Bridge which reopened to traffic in mid-May. For more information please visit the Multnomah County Transportation Division website.
